We were pretty sure that Emma had a pretty significant growth spurt between when my Grandpa died and when we went to Vermont. We just hadn't taken the time to measure her. Finially, I couldn't stand it any more and I got out the yard stick today and measured her: 32" Thats RIGHT! Just over 2" since her one year check up! She's also put on a little bit of weight. She's between 20.5 lbs and 21 lbs. So its all a bit more clear as to why the 9 month clothes were all TOO short, and the 12 months are either really close or too small!
She also FINIALLY has two molars poking through. They aren't out, but they are poking, so we're hoping to see an improvement in Miss Emma's mood! (Of course we still have two more molars and eye teeth left to come in... yick!)

shes growing huh well i hope that was expected she does have some tall parents. im looking forward to reading the story of camp. being camp sick is ok makes me realize just how much i really love it. im sure you know what im talking about. you can send things to the cotonou address still its ok if you havent sent anything out yet it might take awhile to get to me anyway because of not only travel from the states to benin but peace corps sometimes takes a long time to take things up:
