Weight - 8lbs 12oz

Height- 21 inches

Head Circum. - 35 1/2 cms

(I orignally had inches, and Brian pointed out that that is the same as his waist measurement, so clearly something wasn't right!)

Emma Elizabeth brighten our lives with her presence on July 4th, 2007 - doesn't it seem like it was just a few months ago?! From day one she brought life and happiness to our family - some days more than others! Since welcoming Emma almost two years ago, we haven't had any dull moments in our lives!

July 4th, 2008

Weight - 19lbs 8oz

Height - 29 1/2 inches

Emma was becoming a person with a very distinct personality, rather than just a baby. For all those who thought she didn't have much hair on her first birthday, check out the difference between the first picture and this one!

July 4th, 2009

Weight - 25.9 lbs

Height - 35 1/4 inches

(Some say if you double a child's height at 2yrs that's how tall they will be as an adult - 70 1/2 inches or 5 foot 10.5 inches, which for those of you keeping record is about how tall I am!)

Happy 2nd Birthday Baby Girl!! Its hard to believe that you're already two! Where has the time gone?! You are a very, VERY, very BUSY girl! You run like a champ (it cracks Mommy up because your whole body moves as you try to run faster!), you jump - and imitate Tigger quite well, just this past week you figured out how to forward roll, we love to watch you spin yourself around the living room until you collapse. Every day is a new adventure with you, as you learn new things to say, and do everyday. Daddy and Mommy love to hear you say "Go Dog Go!" even if you do say it a million and one times! We love that you give great hugs and kisses (even if you do lick us sometimes rather than kissing us - who the heck taught you that game?! Oh right... I remember......), we love that you are so sweet and caring to animals, real and stuffed, and get worried when one of your brother dog's is acting like a sissy. It makes us proud when you say please and thank you! We are very excited for all the new adventures in this next year of your life, as you learn new things, as we move to a new house with lots of space for you to run and play, both inside and outside. We hope you continue to be a sweet, kind person to both humans and animals. We love you and are soo lucky to have you as our daughter Emma Elizabeth!

Of Course you CANT have a Birthday without people singing Happy Birthday, and blowing out a candle!

She tried to blow the candle out right after I lit it, I had to remind her we get to sign Happy Birthday to her before she blows out her candle.

SHE LOVES when people sing Happy Birthday to her! It was cute to see how excited she got!

DELICIOUS! (She ate all the frosting off the cake and then decided she was full!)

(We even remembered to have her use the "It's your special Day" plate.)

The day after has been spent going from one toy to another, around and around, again and again. She's loving it! Mommy on the other hand, can't wait to be in our house in Ohio with our large family room - with lots of space for toys! We have asked her several times if she's had a great birthday, and she gets a great big smile on her face and say's "YES!!"
