Happy Memorial Day!

Monday was another beautiful, busy day. We went to the Garden of the Gods, Cliff Dwellings, and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo!!!! Unfortunately our camera battery died part way through the zoo so we don't have as many pictures as we would have liked.

Garden of the Gods was absolutely breath taking.

Cliff Dwellings - we later found out that these dwellings were moved here, which made more since after seeing how the rock looked kinda blown out around them! Overall we over payed to see these, but it is one of those things we can say we've seen.

The Zoo was lots of fun. I got to touch a giraffe (we thought of Kate!), Emma and Brian got to pet a goat and Brian and I got to pat a baby wallaby. It was a great zoo, and very kid friendly (always a plus!) Emma road her first merry-go-round. The first few times around she had a blast, and Brian who was watching from the ground said every time after that she got a little more upset and nervous, until finally she had had enough and wanted in my arms. Please note: I was incredibly dizzy too, I decided in the future, Mommy's either need to not ride, or they need to ride a horse with Emma rather than stand next to her!

Emma loved the wallabies, this guy was trying to escape, and ran right by us!
